Yesterday was’nt the best of days for me……….I woke up late for work, was buisey all day at work.  So what a hectic day, not only that I had “gotten into it” with a co-worker of mine (errrggg, can we say office drama?) Anyway the day was less then perfect.

I get home from a long drive (traffic was bad), and was going to make ‘chicken pot pie,’ for dinner (Mom’s receipe). I knew I didnt have long before Kenny had to leave for a meeting last night so I was rushing. Nothing went right. The pie crust was falling apart and tearing. There wasnt enough chicken thawed out. I didnt know I needed one frozen pie crust, the list goes on and on. I had to send Ken to the store to get another pie crust. By the time he had gotten home and I was finishing up there wasnt much time left before he had to go to the meeting.

An evening I thought would be nice and relaxing turned into rush,rush,rush. Rush home, rush through cooking, eating, everything.Why the title “Temper Tantrum” you ask? Good question, while I was bustin my chops tryin to hurry up with the darn pie and realized that it wasnt going good at all I stomped me feet and pounded my fists on the counter yelling and throwing a fit (literally) like a 2 year old. Sending the cat runnning off (very scared of me, I might add), and Kenny just standing there wide eyed not knowing what to do, although he looked scared too! Yeah sounds silly today, but sure did’nt last night!

So after I was done with my fit. Kenny said, “I dont care how good this pie is, Im never letting you make it again!”
