Autumn (also known as fall) is one of the four temperate seasons, the transition from summer into winter. In the temperate zones, autumn is the season during which most crops are harvested, and deciduous trees lose their leaves. It is also the season where days rapidly get shorter and cooler, the nights rapidly get longer, and of gradually increasing precipitation in some parts of the world.Autumn begins around September 23, ending with the winter solstice around December 21 . Meteorologists count the entire months September, October and November as autumn. The days begin to shorten after the summer solstice, it is usually in September when twilight becomes noticeably shorter and the change more abrupt in comparison with the more lingering ones of summer.
I know it has been here for a little while now, but it really sank in this morning on my drive to work, fall is already here! Yay!
Fall is here!! I love Fall!! I love everything about it. The cooler, longer
night’s, cuddling under a warm blanket, making soup, cooking/living from a crockpot, starting up the fire, autumm leaves, carving pumpkins, picking apples, and most of all eating turkey (yum, yum).
