Josiah had his Halloween party with all of his little friends. He was dressed up as Pooh Bear, the costume is so big on him even though it is newborn size. He looks super cute in it though…
Ken and I carved our pumpkins tonight. I was totally impressed with his, mine was ok. Mine is the bat on the left, his is the cat on the right…
For Valentine’s day, we stayed in and I made a nice dinner. It was alot of fun.
My hubby brought me home this beautiful rose filled vase for Valentine’s Day, it looked perfect on the table.
Dinner consisted of; marinated rib eye steak, buttered shrimp, sauteed green beans, and roasted garlic mashed potatoes.
Now that is called love….to have made shrimp for the boy. I hate seafood, and typically can’t even stand the smell of it. I got through it, and he loved it. It was worth all the gagging!
And for dessert, what other than homemade chocolate covered strawberries….
Did I mention we got another charlie brown Christmas tree this year? I had to laugh when I noticed a slight resemblance from ‘07 Christmas tree, take a look…

I love Thanksgiving. I didn’t get very many pictures, but we had a great small Thanksgiving dinner with some family. And then went to see more family afterwards. It was a good time….

We loaded up the cooler, grabbed the sunblock and went to our annual Easter picnic after church . It was nice to see the fam (some of them anyway)

Wow! What a day we had. Julie and I rushed to my Dr. appointment after work, that took a long time, while we were there we heard that it was snowing in Ramona. And then we went to Walmart to fill my perscription and get valentine’s day gushy lovey stuff. After that we finally made it to Nick’s At The Beach, where we met the boy’s. We ate dinner pretty late but all in all it was a very eventful evening. Then we came home to this.

Last night the junior high put on a Valentine’s dinner at church. It was nice, we had fun, and the food was good.
We had chicken green beans, and pasta.
Over the weekend Ken and I had the privilege of spending time with my sister and brother in law. We went to their church, Sandals Church.
What an awesome message we heard about keeping Christmas simple. Giving it back to God, realizing and truly living out why we actually celebrate Christmas. Because of Jesus! I was also touched by my sister and brother in law. I know they didn’t do any of the things they did this season for recognition. But I was deeply touched by there giving, and most of all loving hearts towards the less fortunate this year. Thanks guys, you encourage me to give, and love more.
Giving, and loving…definitely what Christmas is all about!
