Vegas Babymoon

We went to Vegas for a few days to get away before he little one comes. We had a good time, we really did just take it easy….We relaxed by the pool most the time, and slept alot.

We also spent some time with Dad and Melissa while we were there. Kenny says he feels like a giant in this picture, lol…

We stayed at the Monte Carlo.

Right near us was Caesar’s Palace, so pretty at night time. The Bellagio water show is too.

We had a nice time relaxing and spending some alone time together. Definitely worth the effort of getting away, it was much needed.

Glen Ivy Spa Day

On Friday I went to Glen Ivy with Toni, and Aim. We had such a nice relaxing time.

Toni screamed a little when we got into the water, the water was warmer too…I’d say 70s. But it sure was funny…

We went and got all muddy at Club Mud. That was alot of fun!

San Diego Fair

A little late to post, but better than never. We went to the fair with Mark and Kristine. Boy was the food yummy…corn on the cob, funnel cake, kettle corn. MmmMmm so good. We also watched the hypnotist show a couple times, it was so funny.

Youth Camping Trip

Over the weekend we took the youth camping to La Jolla Indian Reservation. I was very sick, but God gave me the strength to be there to do what He needed me to do. The kids had a good time…

Disneyland’s California Adventure

We had so much fun this weekend at California Adventure. It was such a blessed weekend. We stayed at the Crowne Plaza Resort in Anaheim, and I gotta say Priceline rocks! Anyway, California Adventure is doing this food and wine (and beer) festival and it was totally awesome. We went to this beer seminar where they let you sample different beers and you learn about the process of beer making. It was very interesting. Lucky Kenny was able to sample the beers for both of us! It was fun. They also have wine seminars and all kinds of food classes. It is really awesome.

Big Bear Trip

Last weekend we took the youth group to big bear for some boardin. Everyone seemed to have a really good time.

We started out having dinner at Portillo’s, I love it!

We had to pull over on the way up the mountain because chains were mandatory going up, the roads were really icy, the drive took much longer than normal.

We Finally made it to the cabin, were here and ready to sleep!

Everyone was so excited to see over a foot of fresh snow in the morning.

It was sooooooo cold on the mountain.

We played alot of games, this one was who can put the latex glove on there head and pop it the quickest.

This game was really funny to watch. Panty hose on the head, eating a bananna through it the fastest.

The sleding didnt last long until the crazy snowball fight broke out! Eeeck..

We also went bowling while we were up there at the bowling barn, my-o-my these kiddo’s are so competitive :p

What a weekend it was. The kid’s had a great time, and Big Bear was beautiful.

Oak Glen

So this post…is VERY VERY late, but better late than ever. And hey, at least it’s still fall. We went to Glen Oak with my sister and brother in law. It is so beautiful. There are pumpkin patches, apple picking, and lots of beautiful hiking trails.

 

Anniversary Dinner

We decided to celebrate our anniversary while we are out here since it’ this week when we get back home and to work. So, we went to a very nice restaruant while we were in Sacramento called Mason’s. It was delicious!

The Capital Building

What a blast we had walking through the gardens and exploring the capitol. It was amazing!

The wedding was so beautiful it was held at the McKinly Rose Gardens.
